I have tried until now many, say 10-13, luggage scales including ones that are over £30. Definately, this is the best luggage scale I have seen and the reasons are:➜ Black background with white text/digits on the screen. I was going on a long haul holiday and luggage weight was critical. I weighed my luggage after I packed it at home, and I was delighted to find the weight agreed almost exactly to that given to it by the airline when I checked in!

Bought this item believing the overwhelming amount of 100% review but was totally deceived. I was given limit of 20Kg as checked luggage by my airlines. I managed to make it 19.7 Kg leaving 300gram for error just in case. I was stunned when the airport weight scale displayed 21Kg. I argued with the attendant for the error and could be their fault. They agreed to weight the same to different station yet the result was the same. I ended up dumping up 1 Kg of chocolate to make it 20Kg.I had to throw the chocolates that i bought for the kids. The displayed weight cannot be trusted. Its can just give the rough idea of approx weight.It came with pre-installed battery which was supposed to be activated by pulling the plastic insulation however it only forked for few hours. worked only for 10 - 15 times may be. After that there was a message "Lo" which make the item go dead automatically.Reading the display weighing heavy item is very difficult. Reading display being on the edge, it remains covered by hands.Still the value of money and ease of use is very good but this is not the purpose of the item. As it failed to do its core job, i will not consider to give more than 1. I do not want anybody to go thru the same situation as of mine.

I read all the reviews before deciding to buy this product. It’s seems quite small but is very comfortable to hold and easy to read. Weighing the same item a few times it recorded the weight accurately, which couldn’t be said for my old clock type hand scale where the finger couldn’t decide where to settle. So I do recommend this great little scale.

This one does the job, is easy to use and lightweight to slip in your hand luggage. I used it to check 15 staff and students with two cases of books and heavy items to take out to a music school in Kolkata. Was very useful to balance out considerable load including lots of instruments!

Have used these scales on many occasions for work. My job relies on accurate weights and these scales are checked for calibration on a regular basis. Very accurate and easy to use. Would recommend you purchase this product

Do what it says. Good and accurate. Although light I think it could have been slightly lighter but overall good value for money.

Measures with precision! That is the purpose of the gadget, and the item delivers it! That said, finish is rough, and boy it consumes batteries!
