This case just arrived today for my iPad mini 5The red is a true red. Beautiful.It fits my iPad mini 5 and Apple Pencil 1 perfectly.I actually like that the magnetic closure wraps to the back body. I think it’ll help keep the front closed /locked and also lock down magnetically even with a glass screen protector installed (like I have on mine)It’s firm but lightweight for a full cover.Mine came with a screen cleaning cloth included which is a nice add in.I think the price point is fair at about 25 dollars for what you receive. It seems well crafted and has soft fabric inside to protect the iPadAndThe hard shall back has give so it shouldn’t be prone to crack and also makes it super easy to remove and insert the iPad and pencil as needed.Another smart touch is the small round hole where you can place your Apple Pencil to stand up or store that teensy magnetic cap so you’re less likely to lose it.I’m rating 5 stars for durability now since it does appear well crafted and I anticipate it will hold up well. (I’ll revamp the review should this change)Outstanding fit form and function.I’m very happy and so is my iPad. 😁

Purchased as a replacement case for my mini 5. Very classy looking, fits very well with nice button exposure. Nice place for pencil on left, which i don’t have yet. Much better protection than my first, lightweight case. I like the way the clasp works. I do have more problem one-handing it, than the previous case. But I’ll learn around it for the better protection. Very impressed at the first month duty.

These Antbox cases are solid products. My iPad mini gets 6+ hours of use a day for work and personal lives the rest of the time in my handbag with keys, combs, glasses and other stuff. I think it is pretty lightweight for the protection offered. My first case (brown, very realistic looking) lasted for 2 years and is still usable, but I decided to change colors. I love the pencil holder, which I also use as kind of a spine when using the mini as an e-reader. The red is lovely - a bit more subdued than pictured, but definitely red. I also have this case in navy for my iPad 10.2”

The case is of a high quality, has a lovely look and a solid build quality. The color is a rich brown, is a great color and I actually like it, except it is materially darker than what is shown on the listing...something to be aware of.

The customer service is beyond reproach...just excellent!This is a very nice case but the original nor the seller supplied replacement works with my IPad Mini 4th gen because the closure magnet (designed to shut off Ipad when case is closed) is too powerful.When case is open the magnet field penetrates the back cover, turning the Ipad on and off when in use.Very disappointing as I like the cover and wish it would work but will not work with my IPad Mini 4th Gen.Likey works fine with other units but doesn't work with mine.I want to thank the manufacturer for working so closely to resolve the issue....thus 4 stars

The Ant Box iPad mini cover has it all. Inner plastic flexible case holds the iPad securely The pencil holder holds Apple pencil tight; and is attached to the cover. Inside of cover has soft sueded texture, gentle to the screen. Cover folds into a stand so I can watch Netflix at a comfortable angle anywhere. Magnetic tab keeps the whole case securely closed until I flip it open. Bought the red one again so I can spot it easily. Great value for the money too. The only reason I bought this again, is that I got acrylic paint on the one I bought 4 years ago while painting outdoors. It was in great shape otherwise. I really dropped it a lot! iPad and cover stayed intact!

I really like this case. It's been through some things with my kids grabbing my iPad after a sticky snack or tossing it over the stair rail. But it's durable and hasn't stained after being wiped down with a damp cloth. I like the area for holding the iPen. It took me a while to understand how to make the iPad stand in the case, even with the photo instructions (lol I felt like a moron when I figured it out because it's not that hard to). I use my iPad everyday for looking up recipes to work emails to virtual learning for my daughter when she's not in the mood to use the computer in my office space. The case helps a lot and protects my screen fairly well (when closed). This case is definitely something I'd buy again if I needed to but I don't see my self having to replace it for some time. I've had it for about 2 months now and I am very satisfied.

I purchased this as a cover, but I wanted some thing with a decent stand. This is good as a cover and I like the materials - I also like the pencil holder. However, as a stand it is just so so - The ridges on the stand portion of the case are pretty small and seem to wear down pretty easily. My iPad mini slips right past them if it’s sitting at even in the slightest angle. And if I want to put this on a separate stand, the cover is too bulky for it to sit properly. So, I will probably look for something else.Update - I wound up ordering the Finite magnetic stand case for the iPad mini 5, which is AWESOME - the stand stays put so much better. Worked so well, I got one for my son's iPad Pro.
