It's great, fits really well charge 4, the only drawback is that it doesn't fit this case, i can't pop a star because of that, it's not their fault. In general it is a great, sturdy piece, as you can see in the pics, i'm lifting it and it doesn't feel lose at all.

I use my speaker everywhere from in my classroom or backstage during rehearsals to the beach or on the boat. It is carried around, flung into bags and over shoulders frequently and has never caught on anything or slipped off or ripped out yet! I love it!

The fit is just a wee bit looser than. I expected but it works great and keeps my Charge 3 from directly touching any flat surfaces and provides super-handy carrying options with both the strap and carabiner. My wife loves it for her daily use at the pool!

Overall the carrying case those what it’s supposed to do. I don’t plan on taking my speaker on any jet ski, motorcycle, sky diving etc..adventures. Sole purpose is to take it along trips and to have something to carry it other than holding with my hand. I don’t see it getting in the way of sound quality or interfering with the level of the sound. The only very minor issue I see is that the strap may burn you bare skin on your shoulder since it does not come with a small cushion like seen on some sport bags. But they sell those at any luggage store or online. I saw a few for under $5 which may help.

It fits well, nice and snug on my Charge 4 which is what it's made for. No, it won't fit other models. It'll come in handy when carrying my speaker to the next campfire. I think it'll be nice to use the strap for hanging it in a tree.

This "charge 4" case doesn't look like what they show on the website, it's not shaped properly for any JBL speaker, is so large it doesn't fit my JBL Xtreme, is made like crap, and just overall is wrongYou can see in one of the pictures how big this is even compared to my already large JBL Xtreme, on the other two you can see what an actual case for a JBL charge 4 looks like inside this supposed one. It doesn't have the same bottom mount, it's not shaped circular on the sides, it doesn't have the same carrying strap holes, it doesn't have the same button layout, this is not even remotely close to what was orderedI see that some people have gotten proper cases, but I would advise against risking it
