Using pipe cleaners to clean the vents on my hearing aids has become a problem since I got the new units. The vent tubes are much smaller than my old aids, and the pipe cleaners didn't fit. These brushes have a long flexible threader at each end, and a small brush in the middle - like a pipe cleaner but no metal core and quite a bit smaller diameter.They fit perfectly and thread easily, and it's clear to me that the old idea of using pipe cleaners was not wise because they are so rigid and inflexible with the twisted metal wire core. These cleaner brushes are gentle on the instruments. Wish I'd found them years ago!One thing I did wrong was try to open the box in a traditional way - by opening the end. THEN I read the instructions and found they dispense from the clear plastic middle (kind of like a pocket pack of tissues in a way), after you remove the center seal. My bad. I didn't read the instructions first - it's much easier to get them out the middle as intended.This brushes will extend the life of the aids by keeping the vents wax-free. It does make a difference!

These little gems will be SUCH a big help, to you in keeping the small tubes cleaned out on hearing aids. I feel hearing-aid centers should be providing these to users, to acquaint them with the product and be better able to keep their units working properly and performing at their best capacity. Pipe cleaners are too big, and Tooth Flossing string is too small... these are JUST Right. Even Goldie Locks would choose them!!!

Purchased for my wife's hearing aids. Kit seems to work fine.

I use this to clean my mothers hearing aid earpiece. It has very small holes and unfortunately she has a fair amount of wax that builds up. It works quick and easy for me!
