My Tesla Model S has three sections to the glass roof. This covers the front two sections, which makes sense. The roof has a slot that this sunshade fits perfectly into and does not impede the opening or closing of the front sliding sun roof. You have to bend the shade into the roof slots and requires a little bit of effort but shapes snaps back into the flat shape - but not that hard.

Product arrived several days late due to USPS, not the vendors fault. I was able to install in approx. 15 minutes. The headliner looks great and the fit was perfect. I "tested" it in 100+ temperature in TX and I could really tell the difference in the comfort of the cabin. Tesla's AC system is not the best, so having this headliner really helps with the comfort control. I am very pleased; money well spent!

Although the product appeared to be of great quality, the installation process was subpar.1- installation flier was minimal at best2- looked like a printer installation documentation that has been re-photocopied 1000 times3- installation directions were eligible .4- I managed to get the front half the screen on but the back half appeared to be a bit too short on the sides an would not reach the clips.So far, i have only been able to use half of yhe product.

The photo shows the mesh covering the back glass of a model 3 completely, the actual covers half of the back glass mimics the factory privacy tint. Easy to install but short on clips, I only received 6 of them in a bag it looks like I am missing another bag of clips according to some other photos of the same product, it also didn’t come with a storage bag as it states in the description...returning this item and would only buy if it covered the back glass completely.

The smaller of the two pieces that should fit the sunroof section does not fit snug on my 2018 Model S. Almost an inch of space on both sides near the corners allows bugs to enter the vehicle when the sunroof is open. The rear section is also not the right size and continues to fall out of place and starts rattling as you drive.

Definitely a good buy and keeper! I have more shades from my sunroof and when i open it, these shades gives me some sun protection, too.

Does the job at a fraction of the price of competitors.

works great on 2018 model S. Fit perfect and very sturdy.
