Lovely first pen
I bought this for my great nephew who loved it to bits. This was his first pen and it went down very well. ?Lovely heavy feel to it and very addictive to model with. Both his grandad and stepdad were quite envious having spent quite some time playing with it themselves

Over expensive gadget - not great as a pen
Pretty useless really OR an expensive twist magnetic gadget, little more. I like nice pens and buy lots of them. This doesn’t really work well as a pen. The magnets are very strong and difficult to work with. You end up pulling half of it apart when you only want to use the pen. It can be drawn to anything. On the first day I lost the top part. I’m forever raking to find the ink converter cos it’s fallen out. You can do very little with the fidget thing unless you take the ink converter out. As a pen disappointing and over expensive. If it’s just a gizmo you want, there are better things a lot cheaper. I fear this will soon be banished to the back of a drawer soon.

Novel gift idea for the office; nicely presented and well made
This has been bought as a gift for the "man who has everything" and bizarrely, I came across it whilst looking for magnetic pens to stick on the fridge! This would probably work as a fridge pen, very loosely, and it wasn't what I originally set out to buy. I'm pretty sure that it will keep the most bored accountant amused for a few minutes though, and if so, job done!I'm very impressed with the gift box and the overall presentation, and having had a play with the magnets inside I think it's very good fun and the magnets are well made. I've bought packets of disc magnets and fridge magnets from Amazon a few times and they really aren't cheap, so I can appreciate that these pens are going to be similarly priced.The questions and answers on the page discuss what refills this pen will take (I forget without going back to look but I think it was Sigma). So a packet of refills, and this fun gift, and I'm sure that it will make a good and very different gift for that difficult-to-buy-for office bod in my family!

Well made
Bought this pen for my son and he loves it. Made from strong magnets that has withstood then heavy hands of a 9 year old. You can expand your collection to build some of the diagrams shown in the description but my son was happy making what he could with the one pen. Great quirky little present.

It’s fun to use
This is a good magnetic pen, it writes very well good quality ink. Its magnetic pieces is fun to play with when you have nothing left to do on your table plus a nice one to display.

Very clever novelty pen.
My husband loved this for his birthday. The magnets are so strong! He was showing everyone. You need a few to make models as illustrated though.
