Unfortunately didn't help my pain.
Unfortunately Mygrin did not help my neck and trapezoid pain. I applied it easily, it rolled on smoothly and did not burn or irritate but did not help at all. I waited 30 minutes then applied Voltaren for tolerable relief in 20 minutes.

Works well, long lasting
Really pleased with this. I've used it for muscle soreness post work out and it does the trick. The roller is easy to apply and it applies without a greasy feeling at all. After a few seconds the cooling feeling kicks in and I was frankly surprised how long it lasted. Recommended!

It works!
When I was young I got Lyme's when camping. After I was treated, I would still feel pain in my joints after doing anything that strained my body. I heard about MYGRIN through a friend and gave it a shot. Definitely helped out with the pain I was experiencing! Would definitely recommend this product! I stopped taking Advil everyday because of this!

Easy to roll
Easy to roll and effective. You may need to shake to get the gel to touch the roller.

Decent cooling sensation; short-term pain relief
The media could not be loaded. Review of: MYGRIN Roll-On GelIn my family we’ve found that the MYGRIN roll-on gel is really a tale-of-two-knees.For me, I found that the roll-on, thanks to the 3.5% menthol in the product, did provide a reasonable amount of a cooling sensation and, at least while that cooling sensation was present, did indeed give some decent pain relief to my knee. While the gel was clearly not the same as putting an ice pack on my knee, the reduction in pain relief due to the cooling was there for the twenty to thirty minutes that the cooling lasted. The best part is that this temporary pain relief was accomplished without introducing NSAIDs, Ibuprofen or Aspirin to the product. On the other hand (or in this case, knee) another family member who tried the gel only got a mild sensation of cooling and indicatef that there was little to no pain relief; even when the cooling was at its strongest point. The roll-on gel applicator was nice; but only to a point.I had hoped that I would be able to simply use the roll-on applicator to coat my knee and be done with it. But that didn’t turn out to be the case. The roll-on did apply some product onto my knee but it wasn’t consistently applied. Sometimes a decent amount came out and spread over my knee but far to many times I had to roll-and-roll-and-roll the applicator over my knee for a decent amount of the gel to come out; and it didn’t matter if stored the bottle upside down or shook it up and down a number of times. Then, once I did get enough product it is recommended (and this is according to the instructions on the package) to ‘massage well for best results’. Okay, I guess you could read that to massage the gel into the skin using the applicator but I think most people would, as I did, just rub in the product by hand. I found that rubbing the gel in with my hands provided better results, meaning more of a cooling sensation and longer relief, than just using the roll-on application. Still, if I have to use my hands to rub in the gel, is there a big benefit to the roll-on applicator? There is a distinct aroma of Menthol (as you would reasonably expect with any product of this type) but it isn’t an overwhelming smell and seems to rapidly diminish as the gen gets absorbed into the skin.I think the MYGRIN roll-on gel is a decent first choice when you are looking for a “let’s try something simple before going to aspirin or ibuprofen or something stronger” and I can recommend it for that ‘first choice’ scenario. For me, the cooling sensation --was there and it did provide some temporary relief--.And I must say, carrying around the MYGRIN is much easier than carrying around and applying an ice pack; especially if you are at the gym or just out and about on your daily workout. If you found this review helpful, please click the Helpful button below as that helps me know that I'm providing useful information in these reviews.
