It’s been ordered in November 2023 as a Black Friday deal and I reordered in April 2025. The iron started spitting limescale so I used appropriate cleaner for it.Results were gross - NO clothes damaged but the first few tried after the “cleaning” needed immediate rewash. There were yellowish and brownish liquid traces from the iron all over them (one white school shirt incl. but after rewash it was all fine).Now I’m using second Murphy Richards cordless iron (with slightly updated external design) and the only other reason for repurchasing such is that I can still cover the cost on 3 installments. That’s always a winner when I shop.The new steam iron leaks water constantly and will probably be my last from this maker.

Enjoying the cordless experience. Still ironing as if cable still there. I guess your ironing style is entrenched. I don’t iron a lot as most clothing has Lycra these days. But is an effective iron.

As described, lightweight and easy to use

After using it for a few months the iron started to leak. Then, my fault, the iron was too hot for the clothes and resulted on the clothes sticking to the sole plate. After many unsuccessful attempts to clean the sole plate as recommended, i had to use some gentle cleaner (washing up liquid) which must have reacted with the sole plate. Now the iron sticks to all clothes regardless of heat setting, so i have had to recycle the iron.

Quick heat up does a neat job

I was going to leave a very mixed review for this iron. On one hand, it's great - the cordless function makes it very easy to use and the steam function is very good. It's also easy to clean and the water chamber is easy to fill. But - I've now had three of these irons in the last 18 months because there seems to be a few problems with the model.The first iron I received leaked - a lot - to the point it became a very serious concern! An electrical appliance probably shouldn't have water spraying out of it during use. So I was offered a replacement, and that was fine - no leaking - but I found that it only really got hot enough to use when the heat setting was at maximum.Edited to add; the second replacement iron also started leaking, less than three months after I received it. I'm now returning the item for a refund and will look to purchase a different make and model. Three irons all with similar faults suggests there are some serious design flaws!

I love cordless, iron, hoover. This is my favourite iron I've had. Stylish. Light. Gets very hot. Easy to use.
