An upgraded A5, well worth the money
I’m not new to 3D painting, this is my fourth printer and my second JGAurora. This upgraded printer is much quieter than the A5, the filament is much easier to load, and it is turning into a real workhorse of a printer. Granted, it takes longer to remove the blue painters tape from the bed than to assemble the machine, but I prefer the glass bed. I use painters tape for PETG, no need for it when printing PLA. Assembly is easy and quick, and hex wrenches are included, along with an extra nozzle, thumb wheels, and nuts, in case you drop one into your shag carpet. There is also a usb cable for connecting to a computer, hopefully it works better than the one that came with my first machine. Leveling was fairly easy and I used a micrometer to level the gantry to within .001mm at the sides. The first print was an articulated lama using the filament that came with the unit, and the results were as expected, very very good, the joints flexed as they should, and the print quality at .2mm a layer was better than anticipated. All in all, the improvements made to this printer are well worth the money. Granted it doesn’t have auto-level functionality, the back thumb wheels are a pain in the ass to get to without having to turn the printer, but once leveled it will print many many toys for distribution this coming holiday season. I’m very happy with this machine and looking forward to many hours of printing. You will be happy also, once you get all the tape off the bed.

Slow and loud
Extremely loud and incredibly slow, crappy parts slapped together to make a crappy printer. Not at all impressed.

Impressive and prints well out of the box
I am using this now just about daily and really liking it and happy with the purchase.Other than an infuriatingly too short Allen wrench to attach the upright, this went together very quickly. I would recommend getting a large square to make sure the upright is truly vertical and right angle to the lower main body before tightening the screws. Have a resin printer but this was my first FDM printer and I really didn't want to have to fiddle with a lot of assembly or settings to get it to work, so this is why I went with JG rather than an Ender or something. Also for the size and build quality this seems quite good for the money. The glass bed is very durable but not sure it's the best option. PLA doesn't stick to it even though the bed heater seems to work well. I now use glue stick before every single print and that works well, but it is difficult to remove the prints even when letting the bed cool down. My solution is if possible decrease the plate contact area of the part and never use a raft or brim, but a skirt. The hot end fans are small and kind of noisy, and the steppers are also not silent, but I can work in the same room for long periods and not be too bothered. I have levelled the bed twice (with a preheated bed and hot end) and it seems to hold adjustment quite well for a long time.I used Cura latest edition at first and it works alright, with machine and print presets available for this exact printer. Prints much slower than the stated print times in Cura. The retraction is setup as 8mm which seems excessive, advise changing to maybe 4mm. Couldn't get it to print sequentially (one full part and then move to another plated full part) no matter what I do. So I downloaded PrusaSlicer and prefer it as it's just easier to find all the advanced settings, however there are no JGAurora presets available so you have to just set it up manually. It will print sequentially if you adjust the extruder clearance to 20mm radius and 40mm height, as long as you are careful to separate the objects on the plate a good distance front to back. This turns out to be true for Cura as well.

Great Printer and Great Customer Support
I've owned a few 3D printers over the years, getting in when they first became affordable, and this is the best printer by far. I use the printer primarily for making assembly fixtures for my business, and the large print volume opens up all sorts of opportunities for fixtures that I simply couldn't have done on anything smaller. The print quality is excellent, and the LCD Touchscreen is great for setting up the printer, changing filament, etc. And the customer support was top notch. I had an issue with the bed not controlling the temperature correctly, and they helped me troubleshoot the problem and, after determining it was a control board issue sent me a new board, and because the printer was still under the 1 year warranty, they sent it at no charge. I really don't have anything but good things to say about this printer!

It was ok enough
You have to have previous knowledge about 3d printing to use this otherwise you may not like what you get

all the bad press made me worry for no reason, noise not very loud my fan is more noise,
first pring following instructions, was good, but my files did not print right then I found the settings that were wrong in the Cura software and the next 3 prints were great, , if the test print works good like my test did its not the printer thats the problem. Start looking for settings like 1.75 mm for the filament and the temp at 200 not 220, etc, after using for some time, printing 20 parts I had to readjust the corners, but that appears to fix it, and printed parts in ABS no problem, changed the settings and all is well.

Don’t believe it’s an easy to assemble!
Instructions are nonexistent. Print is so small it’s impossible to read or understand. Tech support does not exist. Waste of money and time ... still in the box, not used!
