Well made and tough but not quite what I was expecting
Don't get me wrong this is an excellent rake with a forged head and a poly encapsulated fiberglass handle.Honestly it should last at least a decade even if it gets left outdoors. The handle is plenty stiff and the welded head should never break off.But it is a bit heavy (more than twice the weight of the wood handle rake it is replacing.)And the head was photographed in such a way as to make you think it was polished steel, it is not it is black painted steel just like all the other rakes out there.I don't think the photography is an accident I think it was purposely meant to mislead you into thinking it was more like the really expensive rakes that are out there. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. That said, it will probably last the rest of my life and the way I use a rake and what I use it for the added weight is more of a benefit than a deficit. (Which is not true for ordinary gardening).

Beware - "Composite Handle" means "Heavy, Plastic Bendable Handle", not Rigid Handle
For such an expensive rake, this wasn't what I expected - the rake is very heavy, especially the handle, which was described as "composite" (which one would expect to be lightweight, strong and rigid". In reality, the handle for all intents and purposes just seems to be a heavy piece of rather basic solid plastic, which bends and bows quite a bit ... very disappointing.
