Allbebe Women's Cotton Embroidery Fake Two Piece Linen Folk Style Long Dress

I really, really wanted to like this dress. But I didn't read the reviews, and I really should have. The dress I received was not the dress shown in the product photos. A few very noticeable differences: The color of the top was more yellowish than true beige, though equally pale. The embroidery was not noticeable from a distance, not nearly as attractive and more like a line than a pattern. The over dress is not as dramatic an A line, and does not reach the low hem of the under dress, and does not fit the shape of the under dress. The two layers are not separate (shown is what appears to be a flowey skirt and an A-line top) but is two pieces sewn together around the collar. The under dress is a darker green (olive or sage), does not have any shape or flow, and sits oddly beneath the top layer. Overall, I was very disappointed, and returned the item. As for size, I'm normally a 20/22, and I ordered the largest size available. The dress did "fit" as well as a poorly made dress can, so I warn you also to size way up and prepare not to like it anyway. I didn't take a photo, but another reviewer did post an image of the dress hanging from a door, and you can see there that these dresses are only similar but obviously not the same dress.I did not verify, however other purchasers have mentioned that they believe the dress received is a knockoff of the dress shown in the product images.

Funny, because the reviews made me nervous. I normally wear a Size 2-4 in women's clothing and in dresses I tend towards the smaller.As this dress is meant to be loose, I suspect chest size will make the biggest difference (I'm 34-B). The arm holes were huge in the X-large I purchased and it was quite big all around. That being said, I plan to wash it and hope that it'll shrink just a bit in a warm dryer (for a short period).If you're a bit big on the top half, go up two sizes from your normal size. If you're average, you're probably OK only going up one size.The bottom is big and flowing, so no need to worry about bottom-half dimensions.The quality is fantastic! I really cannot complain. The fabric was really nice. I suspect if you purchased this in a store here in the US you'd likely pay around $60-70. All in all, I think it's a wise purchase.Delivery time: I ordered 26 August 2015 and received the item 5 September 2015. Quite quick!

I ordered mine based on the sizing chart displayed in the photos. It fits & looks nice. The fabric is very thin & wrinkles easily, but the wrinkles steam out with remarkable ease. Also a slightly rumpled look fits well with this casual dress. The top layer corner does go all the way down to the bottom & the color is more of a creamy ivory color than the color shown on my monitor, but I feel this enhances the look rather than detracts from it. The construction is not what I'd expect from designer clothing with 6 times the price tag, but is appropriate for the style, fabric, & price range. This one's a keeper!

This dress arrived today and to tell the truth, because I read the reviews, I expected it to be too small even though I ordered a medium. I tried it on right away and to my delight this lovely dress fit very well. I have narrow shoulders and a small bust.size 34 B. The rest of the dress is flowing and not too big. I believe that the reviews point out that you have to order a large or extra large. I am really glad I did not go large. This is not the dress for full busted women or for women with big shoulders. The lace is beautiful and the green part flows. This will be the perfect Summer dress for me in the hot Southern California climate when I don't want anything tight.. The lace part of the dress is more of a pale yellow which goes great with the green. If you are shorter than 5' 3 " the dress may be too long. It comes all the way to my ankles.

I am 5'3" 190. I purchased an XXL . It is a little snug at the bust and under the arms, but it wears ok. The length is right at the ankle. The dress is very pretty.and It is well made. The embroidered overslip is dainty looking but provides coverage that keeps the gauzy portion from being see through above the knee. I love this dress and would recommend it to others. The only reason I give it four stars is because even though I purchased a size larger that I normally wear. it is snug the bust and under the arms.

I read the reviews that the top did not come down on the side of the dress as pictured. This was true, so I cut off as much of the bottom as it took to make the top hang all the way down the side because this was a selling point for me. Of course it will not be as long. The material is soft and comfy and the garment is well made. I love it with my modification.

I read the reviews prior to buying this dress and bought 2 sizes larger, it fit well. Purchased for my granddaughter's Baptism and was perfect. It had to be ironed, but as I ironed using spray sizing caused spots all over, when I tried to remove spots with wet cloth, only made it worse. This at midnight the night before the event. I re-read reviews and thought I had nothing to lose, so threw it into washer on delicate cycle, cold water, hung to dry, ironed and came out great. Lots of compliments.

This garment was pretty much exactly what I expected. Although the materials are thin their look and feel is great. The dress is complete. The two pieces can be made into separates because both are a complete garment. I sew and decided to separate the two pieces it looks great and I'm completely satisfied. I'm giving four stars because I ordered the size they said would fit me and I had to send it back for a larger size. So pretty much it was just the hassle. I would recommend this product.
