While obviously useful to those with the affliction
A sensitive and insightful discussion of the causes, symptoms, fears, work and therapy required to live gracefully with hemiparesis. While obviously useful to those with the affliction, it provides an important clarity to people who interface with them. I highly recommend this book to those who live with hemiparesis. An equal value will be realized by those readers who live with, work with or socialize with individuals with this condition.

Worth the read
No non sense telling of stroke limitations and abilities. Recommended for new and long teTime stroke survivors. Simple explainations off how to post abi/TBI. Loved the section on mindfulnes. Stroke is not for the weak but the auther has made the hope of recovery positive. I recommend the book for all survivors.
