Excellent product
I bought a set of this product because it seems to be the best combo/value for three items: bird tape, spinners, and fake owl. They are all good quality and look nice. At first, it did not work as the pigeons still come and mock at me. I read the instruction again on the product page and change the strategy. THESE SHOULD BE PLACED WHERE BIRDS TROUBLE YOU, NOT PLACES BIRDS CAN SEE WHERE THEY WILL BE STANDING. I had bird issue on the second floor, thus placing them on the first floor deck won't work. After hanging things higher (second flood where birds used to stand), they just stopped coming. WOW! Remember this is the combination of SOUND and MOVEMENT that repel the birds.

The arsenal you need to fight the Woodpecker War
We've been fighting off woodpeckers on the north side of our house for quite awhile, usually by running out with a broom and shouting. To no avail, they just kept coming back. So we got the pack with the owl, the swirly things, and the shiny tape, hoping they would help. For 3 days we had zero problems. And those stupid woodpeckers started going to the south side of our house. Good thing we had 1/2 left over, because they keep them at bay. Woodpeckers are skittish, so these are perfect to scare them off. I will add an update if necessary, but we're pretty satisfied with how they're doing their job.

No more bird!
A bird started flying repeatedly into one of our front windows. We tried hanging pictures, wrapping paper, cardboard, towels... all sorts of really classy-looking attempts to get it to stop. Nothing worked. The poor thing would crash into the window for hours every day. This went on for a few weeks. I finally bought this kit. I hung the streamers and 1 of the owls in the tree the bird would perch on, and another owl in the window. Haven’t seen the bird since. :)

Excellent Product
This product is very well made, and I think it is a very good value for what you get. I removed the bells from one of the owls, attached one of the spinning rods instead, and hung the owl from a shepherd's hook. I also hung a spinning rod on the back of each metal patio chair. I was trying to discourage birds from digging in mulch in flowerbeds and from sitting on my patio furniture. After a week, it still seems to work just fine. I have watched birds zoom into the yard only to take a quick detour away when they spot the reflective spinning owl and rods. A slight breeze keeps them moving. Since they are made of study material, I think they should hold up well in rain and wind. I have not used the reflective tape yet since the above mentioned seems to have taken care of my bird problem for now. I figure I can try it if the birds get used to seeing the owl and rods. I am pleased, and the packaging of the items was very good.

In my opinion, movement as well as light reflection annoys the birds causing them to scatter.
It works! Needed to keep birds away from cat food, not scattering droppings under covered back patio. Owls hang across north entrance. During the day sun reflects off of them, annoying birds. Moving air sets them fluttering which helps. Bells on bottom add to distractions. Birds have moved, but still viligent. It's not one bird but whole flock.

It Works!
Crows roosted in our trees and raised hell every time we were in the yard, and they even dive-bombed the cat. It was maddening. I tried birds of prey calls on computer but the crows were unfazed, didn't budge. I tried hanging a fake dead crow. The crows stood on it then dragged it across the yard. But as soon as I put up the reflective owls and some tape, they shut up! Now they hate it and do not congregate on our property. Even the two who were born here still come by but do not stay. They do not like the reflections or noise from the tape flickering in the wind! The other birds still come around.I wrapped the end piece of tape around a small rock, then wrapped a wide piece of packing tape over the foil and rock and tossed it into the trees, high up. It Works! Bye bye crows! Great product.

Pigeon Deterrent
Bought these for use on an upper, partially open deck. The owls & reflectors worked well for a week or two; then the pigeons became used to them & settled in again. The owls & reflectors seem to have traumatized our neighbors’ cat more than any thing else. Rubber snakes? No problem! After the initial scare the pigeons build their nest next to, practically on top of them. Going to more drastic, non-lethal methods next; like screening off the whole porch!

Worked like magic stopping crazy birds
The tape frankly did the trick. I did hang the owls in my trees but I couldn’t get the rods screwed into my Evee so just used the tape tied into trees and one stuck in the window where this big fat Robin kept sitting every morning from 5-12 pecking non stop at me. The other windows the birds were flying into like I was Pear Harbor and they were the Japanese bombers on a mission! Non-stop it went on until I put the tape up on the window and tree. Never saw anything like this!
