These are so awesome I bought another. I was literally floored that these worked out perfectly for my needs and brought to mind even more uses. I’I used some lowly Ray-O-vac rechargeables which don’t hold a charge very long and the lights started dimming after 48 str8 hrs. Now I’m using Energizer rechargeables and a very inexpensive timer. I wondered if the lights would be too bright to sleep under but as bright as they are my wife and I didn’t even notice and we slept like bears in winter. Using them 4 lighting around my Recording Korner for late night composing gives it a magical starry effect. Definitely needs a couple of more strands of lights and I got them today. The light seems more candescent like a candle than LED. These will work great sewn into clothing! Wrap it around a musical instrument! Solder an audio cable to both ends see if a guitar signal passes into your amp! Caution unwind very very slowly or it will tangle. I did out of excitement but I was able to slowly undo the crimps and snags. Buy, no reason not to.

︒ Really bright lights.︒ Length was more than enough to adequately fill 2 bottles with 1 strand.︒ The battery box is very awkward & noticeably Stands Out making it somewhat difficult to work with.︒ Durable wire can be redesigned multiple times without creating permanent kinks.︒ Batteries lasted about a week—being turned on overnight only (abt 10-12 hrs/night) .

We bought the lamp and the lights to go into the base... love the outcome.Cons: the battery box is large and difficult to place... the lights arrived nicley weaved up but became very tangled when trying to unwind them as they are thin copper wired...Overall, very happy and highly recommend

Battery box WILL NOT OPEN. "Tiny screwdriver" doesn't work - there are no screws. "Align the buckle and push gently" instructions in photo doesn't work. What does that even mean? I've broken two nails, dug a tiny screwdriver in where the "buckle" is located - still will not open.Can you please better explain how to open it? This is a useless product if I can't put in the batteries.My blood pressure is through the roof struggling to open that box (*cry-laughing*).

As soon as a tried to put a battery in, the spring popped off and now one of them is no good. Not even worth returning.The other one was salvageable — not really “purple” more neon blue color, not halloween decor material.Disappointed

These lights are so pretty , really like them. We didn’t realize how bad it is to get to the batteries. You can’t open the box. My husband had to break the little latch off to get to the batteries We tried every little screw driver we had, a knife, just wouldn’t open. Just a bad set up. A shame because they are so pretty. Now we use a rubber band to hold it together.
