Worked fine when I could use it. But it stopped working due to water damage , unscrewed the battery cover and there was rust, and the display fogged up with water. I imagine this is 'water resistant' in that it doesn't deal with prolonged immersion, just dropping it in an inch of water for a moment.

This is the first food thermometer I I have ever used and I love it! Economical...Easy to use right out of the box, easy to clean after use and now I know when my foods are cooked to a safe temperature level. I am an experienced cook of many years but it's still nice to confirm that a turkey or chicken is cooked all the way through. It is made well and I love that the probe automatically comes out of the device at the mere touch of a button. It then retracts manually but easily. I clean the probe with a sani-wipe and rinse after uses. Great purchase!

The media could not be loaded.  Great tool to have in the kitchen or by the grill! It's as accurate if not better than my standard thermometer. The screen is easy to read and even has a backlight for those dark or even bright situations that can be hard to read in, plus the readout rights itself either way you hold it. This even has a bottle opener built in and a magnet! For the price it's a great buy imo

This thermometer is really easy to use and appears to be accurate. We have been using it regularly for several months now, my daughter is a transplant recipient so food temperature is a big deal for her and this makes it very easy to ensure food is at the appropriate and safe cooking temperature.

Love this thing. I have a wired on also that I hook up to my meats but as a backup I just open this up and stick it in the meat and boom....automatic reading!! Both my sons have this also and we all rave about it.

Comes ready to use out of the box. Magnet for holding on the grill. the display will change to make sure it is always facing up and easy to read. Bottle opener because.....you're grilling of course. :) Recommend this to every back yard chef.

It takes a bit of effort to calibrate, but once that's done, it works in seconds in measuring temperature. Over a hot grill, speed is of the essence. Most important grilling tool for food safety

This little guy is so fast and easy to use that I use it every time now to get my water temp just right for coffee or tea.
