It works.

I was dealing with very significant turntable rumble and it came down to this $30 fix or a $180 rumble filter. Needless to say I was going to start cheap. Got these, plugged them in and they worked perfectly. No degradation of signal, just simple removal of the rumble I’ve been dealing with. Couldn’t be happier.

Worked perfectly

These things are a great, inexpensive solution if you're running a ported box but your amp doesn't have a subsonic filter. I recently moved to a ported box tuned to 39 hz, but my 2 channel amp has no subsonic filter, and you really should have some sort of subsonic filter to protect your sub if using vented enclosures. These were recommended, plugged them right into the amp, they cleaned up the signal, act as cheap insurance, are small and discrete, and added no audible noise to my system. What's not to like? I would totally recommend these to someone in the same situation as me.

Does act as a subsonic filter but with some drawbacks.

Does act as a subsonic filter but with some drawbacks. I use these for the RF Prime 500w mono amp that powers 2 Apline marine subs on my boat. The subs are infinite baffle design. I dont have the room to dedicate to a box. I go 30 miles offshore and use all the storage for safety gear and supplies. The subs go down to 30hz but any frequency below that muddys the sound bad. It's just a drawback of an infinite baffle subwoofer. I have much higher end amps in my vehicles that include a subsonic filter and didnt realize how bad not having one distorted infinite bafffle subs. They do practicality eliminate all the low end distortion but lowerd the output voltage from at amp which sucks when you purposefully get HU with 4v rca outputs. It did lower the overall output signal so gains I set with multimeter had to be adjusted. Overall a good fix for the money and much better than destroying $400 subs but reccommend buying an amp with subsonic filter if your system needs it.

The jury's out.

I understand that hardware of this sort is somewhat dependent on the variables of the application. In my scenario, I have it installed on a mono sub output with a 5v pre. If anything, it seems to cut a bit into my 50hz range. Definitely no perceivable additional power or clarity increase from nixing the ~30hz and under range. I tried using it at both the pre and amp ends, with no differing results. Seems well made, looks cool, but in my specific scenario, appears to cause a slight decrease in performance if anything.

Anti Rumble For Sure

This piece completely erases all the rumble...but also all other sounds are pretty much muted. If you are looking for audiophile level fix, this is not it.

Cured

Absolutely works perfect!! Cured my low frequency turntable rumble.

Save Your Money

These might be okay for a car sub-woofer. Don't use them for regular audio. They cut the high frequencies above 8,000 so you lose most of your treble. Don't use them to eliminate turntable rumble because the sound quality is greatly diminished. I wish that I hadn't wasted my money. They are gold plated JUNK!!

Works!

Used these crossovers to filter out subsonic frequencies to avoid damaging my subwoofer. Seems to work well! I can't tell that any frequencies that are actually within human hearing range have been eliminated, but the sub sounds cleaner at low frequencies than before. No discernible power loss either! Definitely grab some of these to protect your sub!
