The Basics
I'm just getting into using natural ingredients for health and beauty products. I've been using indigo and henna for hair color and want to try to my hand at making shampoo and conditioner. The author explains how to make hair care products and how to store them. Definitely read this book of you're wanting an alternative to expensive products that leave your hair dry and dull.

Informative Book
Clear, concise, easy to understand. I plan to implement at least one of these shampoos as I have been looking for more natural soaps and cleaners for my home. I found no glaring editorial issues, and it was an easy read for me. Posted by Hank's wife, Betty.

Very Informative!
I am always on the lookout for ways to save money and reduce unwanted chemicals in my home. DIY cleaning solutions seem easier to come by than cosmetic and shampoo recipes, which is why I am grateful for finding this book! Thank-you Kathy for your openness about your personal journey and honest opinions about each recipe.

Karina
It has recipes that the rest of the homemade shampoo books have. But I was looking for something that didn't need castle soap. I want something more safe for colored hair.

great book
Recently I have turned to making as many of my own products naturally as I can. Shampoo seemed a little daunting , after reading this book I am ready to jump in and get started. She simplified it and explained the process.
