Inexpensive option for "pillow speaker"
I bought these to try as a pillow speaker for when I want to listen to music/podcasts when my husband is sleeping. At $16 these were a very affordable option and work well enough for my purposes. Because they are meant to be installed in a hat or helmet, they need to be right up against your ear to hear while the volume is low enough not to disturb your bed-partner. That said, they are small (about the size of a quarter), very flat, and not uncomfortable if I position the "2nd" speaker under the pillowcase, directly under my ear while laying on my side. I position the "control" speaker (with the on/off button) off to the side also under the pillowcase, so it's easy to access, but I don't accidentally activate the buttons. I keep the volume low enough that even I cannot hear that extra speaker, while the one under my ear is perfectly audible. Probably not a high-fidelity option, but I haven't tried both of them at the same time in a cap or helmet. Battery life is fairly long, at least a couple of nights worth if I remember to turn them off in the morning. Easily rechargeable during the day.

Works well for a while
Not bad for what it is... slip it between my pillow and pillowcase and played music to fall asleep. Sounds ok, worked fine but crapped out after 16 months. Like it enough to order another.

Extremely poor battery
This is 3rd pair in 2 years. 1st pair one side stopped working, second pair stopped charging, and now this final pair (purchased 2/17/25) has the shortest battery life ever experienced with this product- 6 hrs on a full charge and getting less every day. The first pair would last multiple 8 hr sessions on a full charge-something must be up with their battery supplier.

These speakers do not pack a punch and have never won a street fight.
If you are expecting a lot of sound think again. These little Bluetooth speakers would only work well at night in a quiet room. Any sort of background sound will overpower the speakers. So if you don’t need speakers that are loud buy these.

Great for ski/snowboard helmet
I bought these speakers to install in my ski helmet. They installed easily. The wire was just the right length to route inside the helmet. With the speakers inside, the buttons are a bit difficult to access. But I only need to turn it on at the start of the day, and turn it off at the end of the day. All other functions are handled by my phone/watch. The maximum volume isn’t what I would consider very loud. But I was only looking to have background music anyway, as I still want to hear what is going on around me, so keeping the volume at 50% or so was perfect for me. The sound quality is good. The battery life is good. Lasted throughout a 7 hour ski day and still showed more than half charge remaining. All in all, these speakers worked perfectly for my needs.

They sound good despite the tiny size!
These work well for pillow speakers! They have very good bass response for their size. I listen to these on my pillow all night and they have amazing battery life; they have well over 8 hours per charge & the batteries are good all night! Now for the downside: the charging cable is VERY short (less than a foot), the plug in the speaker is very tiny and difficult to connect because of it's size, and there is no Effective tone control (although they sound good), however I mainly listen to vocal pod casts and very little music. They seem fragile due to the thin cables, tiny charging port and connector BUT so far they've held up well after 3 months of nightly listening.

More cons than pros
The bad things about these outweigh the good. The good things; although it seems like it doesn't output a lot of volume, if you place them inside of your pillowcase for example - the echo off the fabric actually amplifies the sound to an audible level. The form factor is also nice and flat with no sharp edges and the plastic is smooth and thin. The bad things; battery life is abysmal. If you have this on max volume (more than likely) then you're going to get 4 hours out of them tops. Worse yet, an annoying vocal reminder that your battery is running out will start to remind you to charge. Would of been better to just let the device die out without any warning. On top of this, these do not work while plugged in! The moment you start charging them, they turn off.In the long run these are too obnoxious to deal with on a day to day basis. They need to have a larger battery, remove the charge reminder message, and allow passthrough charging while playing if needed.
