The thickness of BJJ belt byVector Sports is approved by IBJJF competition, according to which athletes should use a durable, 4 to 5 cm wide belt coloured according to the athlete’s rank. The belt should be worn over the top, wrap around the waist twice, and be tied using a double knot tight enough to hold the Gi top closed. Once tied in a double knot, each end of the belt should hang 20 to 30 cm in length. Order one size up
My Gi is a size A2. I ordered an A2 belt and it is a little small. You can tie it but the tails are very short, like real short. This is with a traditional knot.Would order again, just the next size. Otherwise the belt is of a thicker quality and holds up well.

Falls off often
Thick and heavy BJJ belt. It falls off all the time despite my best efforts. I much prefer the Fuji belt (which is also very thick).

Great belt for the money
Works well and has lasted for almost a year so far. Thicker than some other belts, especially on small kids but older kids and adults you cant beat it.

It’s a bit stiff and thick.
Belt is a bit stiff, even after washing and using for a couple months. My Son is consistently wrapping it during his BJJ class and complains about it. It’s also thicker than the belt that came along with his Gi.
