Saved my Car
I own a G37 that is notorious for having a leaky sunroof. I bought this and had to open and close the sunroof a couple times to flatten it but no more leak. After almost 2 years of frustration water is no longer leaking into my car. It’s been working around 2 months now.

Worked on a Lexus is250 rear glass
Ok so this was purchase was for the rear windshield not the front. There is a leak in the rear and it’s creating a huge mess of water and mold in the rear trunk. So all the usual options were going to be labor intensive and possibly expensive. So I tried another product that looks good, but it was a harder rubber, with the center rib.Looked good, but in practice it didn’t work out. This product is softer, more of a foam-ish kind of rubbery material. It’s more maliable and without that rib in the middle there’s more adhesive area to better stick. The amount given is very generous and should give you extra in case there are issue. I had issues and I needed every inch they gave me.Heat is your best friend. A warmer day will get that adhesive acting more aggressive for sure. Also, you will need to make sure all the wax or any kind of protectant is off your car/glass. Every bit. I would have given 5 stars if this sealing strip was just a little wider, like 1/8th inch at least. Check my photos. At the top from the car roof to the glass it just needed to be that tiny bit wider. As you can see there are parts where it doesn’t seal to the glass the same amount from the driver side of the car to the passenger side.I only had a leak on the passenger side, but I had to do all the glass so it didn’t look weird. So this worked out pretty good. Just a note though. No matter how hard I tried, to get two different pieces pressed hard against each other so water would not leak at that point, it would not work. I also tried to round that corner with one piece, that didn’t look like it would lay down right so I didn’t go all the way with that.So I ended up using a little silicone in that one corner or else water would leak where those two pieces join and work it’s way to the area where the leak was happening. Way less hassle than removing this big piece of glass and resealing and of course there’s the risk of breaking the glass, no thank you. So in the end this worked out. Skip rubbing alcohol to clean the surfaces if its that 70 percent stuff, it has skin moisturizers in it. Use the 90 percent or better. If you can’t get that, alcohol wipes like the kind of camera lenses are great for leaving almost no residue.

Trash product
“Very bad. The adhesive is really weak — it only stuck to my car for two days, and that’s with the weather still being nice. Summer heat hasn’t even started yet. Trash product.”

Ice and frost stay outside!
I saw a gap in the top of my windshield and realized ice was forming inside because there was no weatherstripping! I applied this item in seconds and no more problem! I highly recommend this item.

Does not work for 2011 Honda Civic
I bought this strip to replace the rubber on the *side* of the windshield on my 2011 Honda Civic. The strip is the correct width (0.75 inch), but is not deep enough to fill the gap. Space is left between the body of the vehicle and the windshield, so clearly it would not work to prevent water leaks. This strip may work on the top of the windshield or on the back window, where the window and car body are flush, but I did not test it. The rubber seems to be good quality, so I give 3 stars instead of 1. But unfortunately I will be returning because despite claiming to be compatible, it is not.

Just what I needed to finish up my dyi rear window
I was surprised how well the stick continues to hold after a year of using it. I waited and I just reused it to help my rear window have a more finished look.A small detail that makes it look beyond a flex tape job To fix my convertible top rear window

Awesome Weather Strip!
I had a wind noise coming threw the windshield on my Tesla model S that was driving me crazy. I applied the strip on a warmer day so the glue and/or adhesive would stick a little better. I whiped the area down with a micro fiber towel to get rid of the dust and the wind noise was gone! Ive gone a little over 90 and it stayed on perfect! Hasn't budged at all yet! Id highly sudjust making sure the area is nice and clean tho before applying!
