Worth the slightly higher price than other brands
Product works exactly as advertised. plastic frame was plenty durable, metal threads let me screw barrel in firmly against windshield to prevent dripping, suction cups plenty strong (I did clean glass with alcohol first, not sure if it was needed though). I gave 5 stars for ease of use because the instructions were well written for a bargain priced product like this and even included some tips for success, but there is a learning curve for getting good results that I think would be the same for any brand of this type of repair kit no matter how low or high priced it is. Some of my results were perfect, some left a visible mark when done.Another nice point about this brand was it came with a premium slide lock bag to store all the parts in after removing them from the initial packaging. I used enough glue and curing strips for 5 patches and it seems like there is plenty of glue left. I reused a curing strip to see what would happen, it worked fine the second time. I don't think the remaining glue will cure in the bottle any time soon like super glue does, this type requires uv light from the sun or a special lamp (not included but I got good results with the sun through some thin clouds) to harden. My particular unit came with a small issue, the flexible rubber tube tip at the end of the hard plastic barrel that is supposed to squeeze into making a seal with the glass still had the little scrap disc of rubber in the center that was left after it was cut out at the factory. It was cut all the way though, I just had to pick it out with a toothpick or it would have blocked the glue from getting through.A note of caution: some reviewers and online videos of this type of kit mention that if the glue does not seem to be flowing into a crack it helps to apply gentle pressure to the crack from INSIDE of the vehicle, flexing the glass outwards a bit to open up the crack. I tried this on one of my star shaped chips and discovered that just a moderate amount of thumb pressure is enough to crack the glass more, adding about 4 inches to the length of two cracks! The instructions for this kit suggest to first try unscrewing the barrel a bit, it may be pressing against the glass hard enough to flex it a bit inwards, making it harder for glue to enter the crack (the idea is keep it as loose as possible without letting glue leak out between it and glass). This is an honest review of my experience with the product, if I had to buy another one I would stick to this item even if the price was a few dollars more than some other versions. The company is offering me a gift if I write a review but what I wrote isn't based on getting anything, the gift is the same no matter how many or few stars I give the product.

Works great and is reusable!
Used this on my wife's windshield after a stray rock created a bullseye crack. The instructions are in somewhat broken English but easily understandable. Followed the instructions by doing the repair in the shade and then letting finish up in the sun and it worked great. There is just a minor imperfection in the windshield now and my wife is ecstatic as it's right in her line of sight. We weren't sure this would fix such a large hole but it did.The thing that sets this apart from other repair kits is that it's reusable. There is a little bottle of the crack filler that will probably get me through 2-3 more repairs. Out here in the southwest, it's a matter of 'when', not 'if' you'll get a rock chip in your windshield so I will be happy to have this the next time it happens. Just make sure to read through all of the instructions before you start and you'll be fine.

it works, but make sure you set right expectation
I purchased Gliston Car Windshield Repair Kit to repair a bulls eye damage (size of a nickel) to my Honda CRV windshield caused by a small rock from the road. I read the instruction a couple of times and watched a youtube video for a repair done with a similar repair kit. The kit was easy to use, it's build quality was good (metal threads). It took me about half hour to do the repair, and I was very careful to follow the instructions. On my vehicle the location of the damage was right in the middle of the windshield, so it is pretty difficult to reach and to align it perfectly to the center as I can barely reach it. I also made the mistake of putting too much resin under the film, I had to spend a few extra minutes to remove them.I'm not sure if the repair really seals and stabilizes the damaged area to prevent further development of the damage. But at least it looks a lot better. The bulls eyes is still clearly visible but much smaller and much less pronounced.Overall it worked for me and I'm not disappointed, but I think it's important to set the right expectation.

Works Well, user error is a potential
I purchased Gliston Car Windshield Repair Kit to repair a star crack damage (size of a dime for radiating cracks)to my 2 week old Honda CRV windshield caused by a livestock semi going onto the shoulder and throwing a rock from the road. I read the instruction a couple of times and watched a youtube video for a repair done with a similar repair kit. The kit was easy to use and seems to be great quality especially with the metal threads. It took 30 minutes and I was very careful to follow the instructions. For the repair itself the damage was just shy of the middle, had to use a stool to get to it but did not get it centered perfectly. User error due to the location hard to line everything up just right. It did really well and can barely see a divot yet when the light hits it just right.Overall it worked for me and I'm not disappointed, with the product itself more where the issue on my windshield was at. Time will tell but for now I am satisfied.

Good Experience Overall
I wasn't expecting a perfect result, but the 2 did repair did great. I had one bulls eye, but looked more a flower w/ cracks coming out of the center forming the "petals". This one had been there for many months and from talking to people that fix cracks as a pro, you have a hard time getting all tiny spots to fill the bigger the bulls eye and the longer you wait to repair. The center (impact point) on it is about 1/8" so I knew that would still show, and as big as this is. I'm confident that my bullseye crack won't grow now. The smaller one was a chip not a bullseye, and it was 1/2" or a little less. It had a hard time getting the pressure tube to line up with it's small entrance wound/spot, but once I did it went great. This one you can hardly see at all now. I would buy again if needed.
