The storyline is very interesting and entertaining!

Okay....This one is not really a buyer or a keeper and unfortunately I bought it. The wedding singer premise never held any appeal for me so I've never seen it. I'm so fed up with THIS movie already just go look up the synopsis on wikipedia where all good crap goes to die. This one start's out very cute for about 30 minutes than it of course degenerates as his love has to leave him...Enter ETOH TOXICITY to the movie. I was at maximum capacity for B.S. because not only do I have to deal with that crap in the E.R. but the version Salman Khan was doing was highly annoying. The I'm drunk and braying like a donkey or doing stupid analogy jokes or screaming like michael jackson goes on for far too long. In the states we have two catchy sayings " step away from the CRACK PIPE " and "kill it before it multiplies" (cockroaches). This means you mr director. Lock him up and throw away the key. They give Salman a new love and then with really bad timing on the directors part, AND THE AWFUL TIMING OF THE SUBTITLES ...they break his heart for the second time in under an hour.From the beginning the subtitles are missing on over one third of the dialogue and when they start them back up they are for the next topic so you have no idea what they are talking about sometimes. I'm beginning to see why they didn't bother. This was a bomb all over India according to the ratings and it is quickly evident. There are no romantic lines , sub-par humor no action of purpose or intent .IT'S BORING. I think they were going for modern rock because the song they are dancing to on stage right now is neither catchy nor beautiful nor interesting because I'm typing this while it occurs . No pretty costumes and I should mention I'm a huge fan of Rani Mukerji and even she can't save this "not even good enough for a weekday soap opera writing". I'm giving up on this one it's just too annoying....and I'm stubborn as a tick so hey..you be the judge because I'm about to be the executioner. ...CLICK...OH LOOK THERE'S NETFLIX...and look "Bunti aur Babli" is offered on streaming....thank GOD.

Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye is a must see movie. It has something for everyone to enjoy. Romance, disappontment, and comedy. The actors do a great job getting the point across.

If you are supremely bored & have nothing else to do, give it a watch. It's a Hindi remake of "The Wedding Singer" but not as cute or funny. They were trying for humor, but they just made it so over the top with the mimicry of Michael Jackson & drunken binge drinking. Also, the time spent on the priest's family or the über-kitsch of Prem's family just convoluted what could have been an otherwise sweet movie.The continuity of a few characters also added to the confusion of this film. It seemed they couldn't make their mind up if the Rahul character was a womanizing jerk or a decent guy. Why they had to pair him with the Nisha character at the end was beyond me. In the original movie, the Nisha character is a heartless gal who leaves the Prem character at the altar. in this movie, she leaves to marry a wealthy fellow (Rahul) so as to afford cancer treatment for her dying brother. And you really feel for her & Prem when she breaks it off. But since she's a decent, sweet gal, it makes it kind of awful for her that she ends up with Rahul who just a few nights before was cheating on his fiancé.Another strike is the music track. It was so ridiculous at times, going into that slapstick twang.If they had stripped away the excess & nixed the obnoxious, it could have been cute. Rani Mukherjee is her usual girl next door sweet character with Salman Khan as the good hearted fellow. But it was layered with too much confusion & overacting (beyond the normal Bollywood overacting, I mean).Made me sad as I really like most of the cast in this flick.

amazing movie that deserve more than five stars

Typical Bollywood story but I don't mind that. Many of the scenes seemed contrived and unnatural. The songs didn't click with me either. Made it "cringeworthy" overall. But that's why its Bollywood!!! Some you love, some make you feel "ummmm"!!
