Love conquers all
After all the drama, this couple finally have their HEA. I enjoyed the story but it was a bit too long. I did skip over some parts just to get to the end. But, I did enjoy this book and the characters very much.

Wow that started up bad!
He kicked her out of the house well he only meant to kick her out of the room. And then he chased after her and got in an accident and things just went downhill from there thank God there's an ending and a happy one!

Oh Sweet Pain
This story was another amazing roller coaster. I love how Bryce accepted how much damage he did and how they both managed to heal each other, as well as forgive and love each other unconditionally. This is a very well written story, full of angst and so much love. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a marriage second chance romance story with a damagedMC and a perseverant strong FC.

Too many improbable happenings for one story. Book had potential to have been much better.
A Husband’s Regret is a stand-alone story with the early premise of an unwanted wife with a two year old child being located, and subsequently reunited with the husband who had rejected her after informed of the pregnancy. The book includes multiple sexual interludes which are sensuously described in detail. The story itself has a lot more meat to it than did The Unwanted Wife, book 1 of this series, but I found that book to be more believable. Most of the angst in A Husband’s Regret seemed falsely created, as if the author kept adding more and more story elements just to create a cohesive whole out of one which didn’t really exist. It felt like padding on top of padding, rather than a believable story. Here are just a few inconsistencies: It’s bizarre that Bronwyn would be desperately in love with Bryce, and yet, although having sensuous sexual interludes with him, start rejecting him right after he indicates that he wants to have a family life with her and their child. Additionally, Bryce's behavior of continually resenting Bronwyn for her supposed actions, and yet refusing to listen her side of what had happened, and after hearing it to even consider her side, makes no sense, especially given his obvious feelings for her. Also, a formerly hearing person who was subsequently deaf for many years would not have acquired the speech reading/lip-reading skills portrayed in this book by the character, who had experienced a more recent hearing-impairment. Many, many persons who use signing skills as a means of communication do not acquire lip-reading/speech-reading skills, and even those highly skilled with speech-reading (lip-reading) skills can discern only about 30 % of conversation. Admittedly, this unrealistic portrayal might have disturbed me more than others, as I had worked in a related field for quite a few years. Unfortunately I found myself struggling to get through this book, not really caring enough to want to read it to conclusion. There were too many improbable happenings within the one main story. This was disappointing as I had really enjoyed The Unwanted Wife, and had therefore quickly purchased Book ll of the series. Sometimes good development of a basic story is enough, and adding a tangled weave of numerous other happenings is too much. In the case of A Husband’s Regret, the numerous improbable happenings detracted from what otherwise would’ve had the potential to become a very good story. That being said, it must be pointed out that this author seems to be not only capable of better work, but also a writer with good potential. I look forward to reading other works by her, if only to determine whether or not the quality of book 1 of The Unwanted series is an anomaly, or representative of better things to come. My anticipation is that her better works have yet to be seen, but are forthcoming.

Bryce was a work in progress
3.5 stars. I was initially drawn into Bronwyn and Bryce Palmer's story. The way they met and got married was exactly as Bronwyn would have imagined in her wildest dreams of a fairy tale romance. Bryce was completely entranced by her. But how they had one major meltdown by Bryce's doing that lead to a separation of 2 years and required a lot of repair was quite the journey. I was unimpressed with Bryce's uncanny ability to point fingers at Bronwyn for everything that had gone wrong and how he maintained such an icy exterior. Bronwyn should not have shouldered all the blame and watching her take a stand and prioritize her own happiness was a rude awakening for Bryce. While I was invested in the story, towards the end, my interest began to wane as it seemed like Bryce was dragging his feet on making the appropriate gestures for reconciliation even though it was obvious that he wanted to. He had to set up the scenario according to his preferences and it just dragged a bit to the end. Regardless, I did like both of them and how they finally managed to work things out.

Hero gives mega grovel.
Between a three star and a four star for me, Anders ups her game from The Unwanted Wife (I'm still not too sure of Sandro) and the writing improves. In The Unwanted Wife, the kudos go to the heroine in my opinion as when she is fed up with both husband and father she is done. Kind of done anyway. Here, the honors go to the hero. For all her backbone the heroine is really not that likable. Two years before the story starts the hero told the heroine to leave when she tells him she's pregnant. She does leave and long reaching chaos ensues. No doubt about it, the hero, his brother and some of his male friends are either completely hateful to indifferent to the heroine after her two year sojourn. This is given the fact they think the heroine coldly watched while the hero potentially died in a car accident that left him deaf it's understandable. Oddly enough the females don't have much problem. Theresa makes a brief appearance in her now all too perfect romance. The hero is unrepentantly awful to the heroine now that she's back while surprisingly she gives back as good as she gets. Of course that doesn't stop them from succumbing to passion again and again. A little repetitive there but fine. She has her feisty little plot moppet along that the hero falls head over heels for.Once the truth comes out, the hero is horrified. He still can't say "I love you", but his actions reek of apology and grovel. Eventually he can express his emotions and his real grovel comes out and it's a pretty big one.Points off for the fact that he is a big-time millionaire with a security detail and investigators but was unable to find his wife and child for two years. There's more to story that's a little dubious, but the drama and angst is up there.

Not one of her better ones
Two years ago Bronwyn's billionaire husband threw her out of their mansion when she told him she was pregnant. Since then she's lived off her savings, a small legacy, and a series of low-paid jobs. She's recovering from a bout of flu when her brother-in-law walks into the restaurant where she is working and starts haranguing her for leaving his brother and ruining his life. Next thing she knows, Bronwyn is lying in a hospital bed recovering from pneumonia and her husband is shouting at her. Apparently after she left their home he chased after her, crashed his car and lost his hearing as a result. Now he has found her again he is using his power and money to insist that she and their child return to live with him as Bronwyn has 'stolen' his child from him.Still desperately in love with her husband, despite his frankly deranged accusations, Bronwyn is too weak to resist, especially when he sometimes treats her so kindly and his kisses are as sweet as ever. Can these two resolve their differences and reconcile?I know this book is seven years old and written at a time when romance readers relished cold-hearted billionaires who are secretly madly in love with their wives but conflicted because of 'stuff' where they have hate sex, but actually Bronwyn's husband Bryce came across as a petulant child, stamping his foot because of what he thinks his wife did. In contrast, Bronwyn was completely wet and pathetic. Not one of her better ones.

A poignant and uplifting love story
The foibles and complex personalities of the main protagonists created depth which made the storyline gripping throughout. The unexpected twist and turns made the plot u unpredictable and enthralling. The intense emotional drama ensured that you not bored but captivated to know how they would attain their positive outcome. A heartwarming and sizzling reading experience.

This book was different
This book was different as it sort of ended their story before it began .Bryce hid something from Bronwyn in their marriage so when she told him she was pregnant his reaction was one of anger which by the time he had it under control she had left as he requested. Only he thought she would go to the nearest room but she left his Ife. Just one of the many misunderstandings these two had. Could they find their way back to each other. Pretty intense at some times but enjoyable

Such a good story
I really enjoyed this book by Natasha Anders, in fact I have enjoyed the entire series. Bryce is a tortured soul who had a gruesome upbringing, and finds it very difficult to relate with people. When his wife Bronwyn tells him she is pregnant he goes into meltdown, with disastrous results for both of them. This is a very emotional book, I will admit to a few tears in places, Natasha is very good at making her story lines and characters feel very real. Kayla, their daughter is delightful, and is written exactly as a child of that age would be.A really worthwhile read. It can be read as stand alone.

enjoyable
Really enjoyed this book. The story was both heart breaking and heart warming. Loved that Bryce had to grovel to get his family back, they certainly deserved that and so much more. Really loved getting to know all the characters.
