Maybe I just got a bad camera, but the thing leaked water the first time we used it. While we can return it for a refund, we'll never get back the pictures we could have had. Very disappointed in not being able to have those pictures from our Cancun vacation.The camera worked for some trial pictures before our vacation. Picture quality was iffy. Some were ok, others not so good. The camera functions were harder to work out than they should be, and instructions were minimalist and poor. But I got it all figured out eventually, and probably would have been satisfied with the camera had it not leaked.FWIW, the failure mode was that the camera locked up with an error message on the screen. No buttons worked, couldn't even turn the camera off. When we got out of the water, I dried it off and opened the battery compartment. Battery was fine, but the SIM card was wet. Even after several days of drying it out we couldn't get it to function again. Will not buy this brand again.

I have no idea how this has 5 star reviews! Horrible picture quality even though it says 1080p video. That's total lies! I would for no reason advise anyone to purchase this camera! The fact that the pictures remind me of the the same quality as those toddler cameras you can buy for them to play with is a huge problem! Especially for $80! We are returning ours!

HORRIBLE pictures. You need a screwdriver to open the battery cover. NOBODY takes a screwdriver underwater with them.Instructions are VERY vague and incomplete ( all 8 pages ) Description says easy to use which it's NOT!!!!!! Instructions are incomplete. I gave it a 1 rating only because there wasn't a zero rating.

I bought this for a trip overseas...glad I took a back up point and shoot as well.... it Takes great little photos for a point and shoot. My two problems were that the bottom is very, very hard to open to get to the disk and my camera won't recharge - so it has been dead since the week after I bought it. Which was two months ago. Busy...

I can not imagine how in the world this camera got any five star reviews or how anyone would be satisfied with it. I made my purchase based on the reviews which was a HUGE MISTAKE.My 8-year old daughter saved up her allowance money for this camera. It takes HORRIBLE pictures! The shutter speed is so slow, every single picture is blurry. The display screen is not great, either. The instructions were translated and are hard to decipher. We’re SO disappointed. What a waste!The photos in my review are ones that I took myself. I thought maybe my daughter was moving too much while taking pictures, but sadly, no.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! Took it to Hawaii on vacation. Seemed to work outside of water. As soon as I took it underwater and adjusted it for close up, the knob came off in my hand and the camera filled up with water and stopped working. I gently moved the knob - I wasn't rough with it. It ruined the SD card as well so all the pics I took prior to going under the water were lost as well. I'm very upset because I was really looking forward to taking photos of the tropical fish.

Most of the pictures turned out very blurry (both underwater and "normal"). Battery (fully charged) didnt last long at all (few hours, but only took like 20 pics during the whole time). Controls (eg, save, delete, changing modes) are not intuitive at all. Just looking for decent digital cam for vacations, but not particularly impressedwith this camera at all. Sad

Not a bad waterproof camera, especially for the price. Takes decent pictures, but unlike me, make sure to first turn off the date/time stamp from the shots. Didn't realize this at first and have a lot of pics with this information on the images. OK if you want that, but I prefer not.
