Great book to learn about chinese new year
This was a cute book to explain little bits about Chinese new year. My son and I enjoyed reading it and learning. Very simple and cute pictures.

Daughter loves this book
This is a very cute and easy way to introduce little ones to the Chinese New Year. Adorable, colorful illustrations, and it's simple but informative. My daughter makes me read it almost every night.

Wonderful and easy to learn from.
I teach 4 year olds, and I use this book to guide me as we learn about Lunar New Year. Beautiful illustrations and short descriptions. Great for young children!

A family favorite
I’m trying to teach diversity and other cultures to my kids and this book is a great introduction to Lunar New Year. They ask for me to read it to them weekly. Beautiful illustrations.

Delightful way to learn about Chinese New Year
Love Grace Lin’s delightful illustrations and storytelling. I bought this one about Chinese New Year for my toddler after reading and re-reading “Dim Sim For Everyone,” also by Grace.This story has more text than Dim Sum for Everyone and is probably more age-appropriate for kids 3-6 than my toddler. She’ll grow into it though, so we’re gonna hold onto it. In any case, I got to learn more about my own Chinese culture, and I’m in my thirties!

Fun book for babies and toddlers, informative and has great illustrations
I bought this book for my 13 month old daughter several months ago and she still wants to read it everyday. I think she really appreciates the colorful illustrations and she gets especially excited when she sees the lions and the dragon. This is a great book to introduce the traditions surrounding lunar new year to babies and toddlers.

Describes New Year customs, but in a stunted manner rather than a narrative. Not recommended.
