Gorgeous but definitely cheap
UPDATE:After a few days of owning the watch, I noticed that it is running fast. It adds about 2 extra minutes every 24 hours. I heard that magnets can make mechanical watches run fast, like the ones in iPads, but I don't use one.. I only have an iPhone. So don't know if that is affecting it or not. But I'll take a fast watch over a laggy one any day.-----I am really crazy about this cheap thing. The timepiece itself is beaaauuutifully made and doesn't seem cheap to me in fact. The detailing and gears look beautiful and the construction feels solid. Yes, it's not Patek or even a $1300 watch, and the detailing isn't perfect, but at $15, my expectations were vastly exceeded (so far). I didn't know what a mechanical self-winding watch was until I received this, and I am such a huge fan. Also, the hands are glow in the dark. For those who likewise don't know: they don't run on batteries and you are supposed to wind them daily. You just twist the crown (knob) toward the 12 gently until it resists. Love that it runs purely on mechanical energy and springs and I don't need to rely on a battery. Only got it this morning so can't say how it holds up or if there is an inaccuracy with keeping the time yet. But I will update this review if I find a functional problem as such.CONS: The strap is horrendous quality. Very stiff and plasticky (though made to look cushioned). I have small wrists so for a while it would break as I tried to stretch it on to the tightest fit. It's fixable but highly irritated. 2 days in one of the loops broke off...it was held together solely by a poor quality glue. I'll get it replaced eventually.I was a bit disappointed with how thick the timepiece is, it doesn't look like they really needed that extra room. It's front glass is a rounded dome shape and not flat, so at the thickest point the watch is 1cm thick. It not a big point of contention for me. I am sure the gold finish will start to wear off, and we'll see how soon. Also, it doesn't come with instructions or a box or anything other than bubble wrap.I don't really care as long as it stays accurate, as it's just gorgeous.

I really like the watch
I really like the watch, it appeals to my steampunk tendencies, and I've been looking for a watch-that-winds so as not to have to rely on battery power. It does not keep good time, however, gains about 5 minutes a day, but I'm finding that if I check the time when I'm winding it, I can reset it daily and it's close enough for my needs.

Looks pretty, worked well for a month or so, but now busted and replacement is going slow.
I own a different brand/type of "skeleton" watch, and my children have been envious of it.When my daughter got a gift card for her birthday, she purchased this one.It looks really good, appears to have worked really good...BUT...After owning it for month and half, it stopped working and was unable to maintain any winding in the mainspring. The Amazon watch warranty is great, because for the most part, no questions asked. They said that the would just refund the money for the watch, since it wasn't a high enough quality watch to repair.BUT...I've called four times now for the replacement labels/etc, and still haven't had that information sent to me via email. (I had them use both my personal and work email addresses.)Since Amazon is good about their customer service, I'm sure this will be taken care of.I recommend that anyone who wants a watch like this, that you look at the reviews and perhaps look at spending more money for a higher quality watch. That's what my daughter and I will do when/if she decides to purchase another "skeleton" watch.

Love it!
This is the first hand wound watch I have owned and I love it! I would definitely buy it again, and I think its worth more than its price. The first day I wore it, it had stopped a few times, but now it will go 24 hours non stop. This watch is so cute. I think the strap is not bad quality, and the watch has a bright brass color to it. Its color resembles that of the second half of pictures shown. All that said, I definitely recommend it, especially for 15 dollars!

Love it!
Beautiful watch! I've gotten a lot of complements on it. I wind it approximately 40 rotations in the morning, and it is easy to tell when it is done winding, as the tension stops you from winding further. It has lasted 36 hours on a full wind-up. I do have to reset it time-wise every couple of days, as it loses a couple of minutes. If the hands get enough energy from the light, they glow in the dark. Overall, best watch I've ever owned. People think it's a $100 watch.

The face of this watch is SO pretty! But the band is cheap and will break
The face of this watch is SO pretty! But the band is cheap and will break. If you buy this watch be prepared to replace the band. Although I have to say I still would have purchased it just for the face.

Nice watch
Bought it for my wife as a dress watch and it seems to be very well constructed. Very nice in person. w.ould have been nice if it had a nice box to store it in though. Comes in bubble wrap

Shipping was fast and the watch is gorgeous. The only issue I have is that it for a very small or a girl. Please note that before you buy. Other then that, nice product.

The watch works well and is beautiful.
I like that you can see the working mechanism, this is how they were made before this electronic time.
