I love how this thing worked! My dog likes to jump on me and my wife everytime we pick up his leash to go for a walk. We had to fix this behavior since the wife now is pregnant and we were worried that he'd accidentally scratch our newborn when that behavior continous. The shock levels are from 0-100 so I started at 10 to keep it "low"; 5 was enough for him. As soon as he jumped on me, i shocked him and I felt bad 'coz it seemed to hurt him but he discontinued his act right away. I was amazed how quick he learned.He also hates cats and rodents and there are a few trees around where we live so needless to say, there are squirells running around every now and then. There are also some stray cats which he would chase down, pulling me along even if he had a spiked training collar on.When I took him outside he started to run off and i had to bump up the shock level to 7 and he turned around right away and came back to me.I have a 60+ lb PITBULLxLAB and shock level 7 was good enough for him. I felt bad for not following the instructions to start at level 1 since the levels go up to 100. Please do so to save you the heartache! Learn from my mistake!

60 lb lab/beagle and pit bull terrier mix.Dog is responding to beeps and vibrations, but the covers for the prongs do not shock even at 100 power. We removed the covers and he now responds to a much lower power level. Overall Im happy with the product.

Purchased for a hound dog because she won’t respond when she gets on a sent. Shock mode isn’t enough to get her attention to return safely

Stopped working after 6 days! Won’t charge!

Missing the long probes. Item does work but not for my long haired dog.

It doesn't seem to be very effective. Both my dogs don't respond to the shock at all. Changed the probes and even tightened the collar, nothing. Kind of disappointed in this product!

This collar is horrible. It didn't work at all on my dog. I turned the shock option all the way up and held it in my hand.......I barely felt anything. Definitely not for stubborn or any dog over ten pounds!!!
