I bought this to improve or strengthen my wifi signal. It came with, to me, very confused direction and a 6' cord. From what I understand you plug it in to 120 volt and then run the 6' wire to the modem. Now if you can understand the diagrams and directions, the unit needs to be in the weaker areas. My wifi is suppose to cover a 50' radius, so now to make it work the best I need a 60' to 70' cable run under or through my house to the weak signal areas. Then you need to program it, if you understand all the directions.You need your cell phone to do that. After a couple hrs I gave up, put it in the box, and sent it back. After reading some reviews ,I saw where it works good for several months then not so good. My son bought one, put it in the hall outside his room has 2 -3" antennas sticking up. Cost $15, time 15 mins, works great.

i got this to boost my wifi and it works! Another great feature that allowed me flexibility was the extra Ethernet port on the side if the unit. I previously had an ethernet wire running from my router through a couple of rooms to a device that wouldn't connect to the wifi network (who knows why not) and I was able to connect it directly to the wifi extender. Poof! Problem solved.

Signal wasn't strong enough to stream from my satellite dish, kept stopping while streaming. where I find it useful and the only reason I decided to keep it was, it does handle the streaming from Netflix without any problem, so I have Netflix connected to it and I removed Netflix from my main modem, that help free up clutter in my modem and when I have guest and they need my wifi I direct them the repeater instead my home network modem. That keeps my home network away from my guest, but gives them access to wifi.

Purchased 2 range extenders and placed them in strategic location and have coverage of the whole home.Installation and connection to my computer worked the first time and with minimal changes.We have single story 35500 sqft. home and we needed the extenders the have full coverage.

This is fairly easy to install and figure out, but if you have a hard time... customer service is very helpful. I set this up in our new home as it is larger and wanted the WiFi to reach further around the house in the back. This device was successful in helping me to achieve this goal which is the very reason that I purchased it for!

This thing is junk in my opinion. Unfortunately I didn't install until after the return window closed,but I would send it back. Stuck with a useless piece of junk. Output is MAYBE 1/3 of my signal strength.

Gave up trying to install after many attempts.Instructions - hard to follow or understand.I'm an IT professional.

The look was good and fancy design but I could not get it to configure to my residence.

We liked how easy it was to install and set it up and how fast it worked.

Not absolutely simple to configure, but once done it seems to be working perfectly.

Can't seem to install.
