Q: How long does it take to warm oil?

I heat up lotion rather than oil, so I cannot answer the question.

Q: Is the bottle BPA free and how about the chemicals penetrating the oil while heating?

It’s BPA free just like it states on the descrition. Also I’d recommend another product. These warmers don’t last more than one year. I’ve purchased two.

Q: How wide is the bottle opening? And how deep is the bottle opening? Nice looking unit, but want to make sure my current bottle will fit.

The opening is not wide enough to get lotion in without a lot of difficulty. I wish I wouldn't have bought it.

Q: Is there a way I could order spare bottles? I am wanting to be able to have a variety of lotions and oils on hand.

I ordered bottles from a MASSAGE website that WAREHOUSE(s) a very expensive warmer (professional grade) and all kinds of oils, lotions, pump, spray and flip top bottles. I bought several so i could switch them out as needed. The 8oz worked perfect. I have both pump and flip-top bottles. I don't know if they are offered on Amazon but i'm sure you can search 8oz plastic pump bottle or the like, though other brands might have different dimensions. I LOVE my oil warmer that I bought on Amazon. You can pretty much figure out the site I used by the obvious key words used in the first sentence.
