It's an amazing book. It is really funny and adventurous
My 9 year old read this book and this is what she has to say about it:It's an amazing book. It is really funny and adventurous. Every part was exciting so I felt like I couldn't put the book down. I kept on reading it and didn't want to pause unless I had to for things like lunch, dinner or to play in the garden. I even played less Minecraft while I was reading this book. Shall I tell you something really funny, Minecraft is mentioned in the book! I totally recommend getting and reading this book. Bye.

A Excellent read
A fabulous book written by David Baddiel had me hooked all the way through finished it in no time. Its got all the qualities of a good book and especially funny.SPOILER. When Ellie's controller gets sat on by their well fat dad, who eats way too much bacon sandwiches, she needs a new one and she finds the person controller. She doesn't know what it does at first but soon finds out. The plot is well created but thats for you to find out. The funniest part for me is when Fred is playing in the final he plays like Cristiano Ronaldo perfoming incredible skills and scores a triple back-flip goal. Every reader, and Fred, thinks that Ellie is controlling him however she is just pretending as you will find out. Spiolers over. I loved this book. It was an extraordinary read.

The Best Book Ever
The Person Controller is a brilliant book about two twins both in love with video games. When Ellie's dad accidentally sits on it, Ellie needed a new one. The Person Controller was born. This book was incredible and every minute of it I couldn't wait to turn the next page. This book is filled with laughs, pranks and constant surprises that never get old. Every night (once I have read a bit) I would have dreams and imagine it was me in their position. I loved this book so much and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.Age : 10 years old

Good Story and fun character!
Enjoyable children’s book, particularly liked by my nine year old son. Main characters are fun and likeable and the story is very heartwarming!

Let down for teachers of English
I thought this book was awful from a teacher's perspective. The child I teach corrected appalling grammar as we read, though she enjoyed the storyline.Definitely would NOT recommend it.

kids liked it
Both my son (10) and daughter (8) have read this. They both seemed to like and could summarise the story to me enthusiastically. They have proceeded to read the other book 'The Parent Agency' so I think they enjoyed it although they do read a lot.
